Shri Meghav Mehta is a Mechanical Engineer from the Rochester Institute of Technology (New York, USA) with a specialization in Material Science Technology and Alternative Energy. He joined Deepak Group in 2009, where he successfully initiated and completed multi-million dollar EPCm projects. Shri Meghav Mehta is Executive Director at Deepak Phenolics Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, since 2nd May, 2019. He has spearheaded multiple digital transformation initiatives in Deepak Group. Shri Meghav Mehta is an adventure sports enthusiast and a certified deep sea diver.

Shri Sanjay Upadhyay is a qualified Cost Accountant and a Company Secretary. He has completed an Advanced Management Programme from Wharton, USA. Shri Sanjay Upadhyay has over 40 years experience in the areas of Finance, Treasury, Taxation, Commercial, Secretarial and Corporate Restructuring. He oversees risk Management, Governance, Investor Relation and IT functions. Apart from these, he also has expertise in growth strategy, acquisitions, restructuring etc. Shri Sanjay Upadhyay joined the Company in 1994. During the span of his career, he has held important positions in the Company. He was inducted in the Board as Director (Finance) from April, 2017 and is also the Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He is also on the Board of several companies within the Deepak Group. In his role as CFO, he is focused on driving financial performance of the Company through rigour and synergy in capital allocation, investment management decisions and portfolio optimisation.

In a career spanning over 41 years in fields like Project Management, Operations, Corporate Planning, Quality Management, Mr. Anand has held various important positions at Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd. and retired as its Whole-time Director and Board Member in 2008. In addition to being a member of institutions like ICMA and IIChE, he is an Advisor to the Government of India on Health, Safety and Environment aspects in the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons convention. He is a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from Delhi University and has done a Petrochemical Course at IIP, Dehradun. He has also done an advanced management course at IIM, Ahmedabad.

Shri Milin is a Chartered Accountant and a senior partner at K. C. Mehta & Co. Chartered Accountants. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Law Graduate. He has a rich experience in the field of strategy, taxation, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, etc. He was also member of the Committee set up by the Central Board of Direct Taxes for framing “Income-tax Computation and Disclosure Standards”. Presently he is member of the Committee appointed by the Finance Minister under the CBDT for considering the MAT Impact on introduction of IndAS and also to notify further ICDS due to introduction of IndAS.

Shri Prakash Dinkar Samudra studied chemical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay and graduated in 1973.
From 1973 until 1981, Shri Samudra worked in Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Mumbai. In 1981, he joined ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solution Group, formally known as UHDE India Ltd.
While with Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions – Process Technologies, Shri Samudra was responsible for the acquisition and project implementation including planning, Procurement and Construction of several EPC-LSTK /EPCM projects in the field of Petrochemicals, Caustic Soda/Chlorine, Polymers, Fertilizers, Oil Refinery, Organic and Inorganic Chemicals, Cryogenic Tank Systems in India and Middle East region, and was instrumental in substantial growth of the business.
Since 1998, he has been on the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (India). In July 2014, he was appointed as the Managing Director and CEO of the ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions. He superannuated from ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions in June 2021.
Shri Samudra had been the Chairman of various leading industry associations such as the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE, Mumbai Regional Center) for 3 years from 2005-08, and the Process Plant & Machinery Association of India (PPMAI) for 2 years from 2003-05.

Sanjay Asher holds a Bachelor’s degree in commerce and a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Bombay. He has been a practising advocate since 1991, and was admitted as a solicitor in 1993. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. He is presently a senior partner with Crawford Bayley & Co, which is India’s oldest law firm, established in 1830. He specialises in the fields of corporate law and commercial law, corss-border M&A, joint ventures, and capital markets, and advises large, medium and small business enterprises on these subjects.
